May Showcase

May saw five beautiful new weekly selects from creatives working out of London, Cape Town and Milan. All of our creatives this month work in and around the film and tv industry - showcasing the varied, talented skill sets that come together to make a production happen.


Stephen Murphy
London-based cinematographer Stephen Murphy has won numerous awards for his work, including best cinematography at the Fastnet film festival in 2009. He's currently repped by Intrinsic and in 2014 he was invited to become a full member of BAFTA.

anna Rackard
Anna works as a feature film, TV drama and commercials production designer. Her features include Love & Friendship, Stella Days and Ondine. She won an Irish Film & Television Award in 2010 for Ondine and again in 2012 for Stella Days.

Cartello Directors
Cartello are reputed to have one of the best little black books in the business. Years of working globally has provided an advantage of an international work base, a multi-cultural understanding and broad knowledge of the industry. It has also allowed Cartello's owner Anna Mira D’ Ercole and her production team to expand its map of allied directors and gain a comprehensive list of relevant international crew.

Baybora Şeyhmus Demirbilek
Bora is a pale skinned, introverted London based designer.

His skills cover animation, 3D, illustration, storytelling, video editing and visual development. Over the last 8 years he's worked with and designed content for clients such as Honda, EA Games, Sony, Virgin Media and Balfour Beatty. He's very passionate about video games, old cartoons, sound design and science fiction.

Nadia Marquard Otzen
Nadia is a Danish film director working in between London and Copenhagen, educated from Central St Martin’s School of Art in London.

Nominated Best New Director at the UK Music Video Awards in 2014, and nominated a UKMVA and Grammy award 2016 for Best Pop Video for Years & Years ‘King’.
