Anthony Dickenson — Rival Consoles

For the music video of his latest single, “Soft Gradient Beckons,” Rival Consoles (Ryan Lee West) collaborated with multidisciplinary artist Anthony Dickenson to explore perception and the line between analog and digital. Dickenson spent nine months hand-painting frames in black ink on long paper scrolls, which he then animated by filming them in a projector-like sequence, blending nature, portraiture, and experimental techniques.

Seamus Murphy — Strange Love

Photographer Seamus Murphy's new book Strange Love captures the everyday realities of life in the US and Russia, challenging his previous assumptions about both nations.

Born in Ireland in 1959, Murphy’s political awareness was shaped early on. He recalls seeing JFK pass by in Dublin in 1963 while perched on his father’s shoulders, and his mother’s tears after the president’s assassination. In 1970, a teacher read to his class about religious persecution in Soviet Russia—an early glimpse into the country that would later become a subject of his work.

Luca Bjørnsten — Nugget Brain

With a fitting Instagram handle—Nugget Brain—Luca Bjørnsten creates vibrant, playful art that feels more Miami than Copenhagen, where he was born, raised, and still lives.

His fluorescent, childlike paintings evoke vaporwave Florida beachscapes, blending nostalgia and pop culture. Working in oil, wax pastels, and glossy papier-mâché, Luca channels the surreal energy of Spring Breakers—if it were PG-rated and directed by KidzBop—melding youthful memories with saturated, candy-colored chaos.
